Rady Children’s is currently hiring for per-diem, dayshift Credentialed School Nurses for San Diego County School Districts!

Job Summary

Under the direction of department leadership, the School Nurse provides a comprehensive health management program for assessment, evaluation, maintenance, and improvement of the health of students to enhance their learning capabilities in school districts across San Diego.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nursing

3 years of experience

Current California RN license

Current BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHA

School Nurse Svcs Credential

Current CA Driver’s License

Proof of Auto Insurance

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree

5 years of experience

School Audiometric Certificate

Bilingual

2-5 years of successful school nursing experience in elementary school setting

The current salary range for this position is $41.49 to $57.05/hr.
